About Us

Created in 1997, Sociedad Textil Lonia was conceived as a company dedicated to the design, production and commercialisation of clothing and accessories for women, men and children.

In August of 1998, STL launched its first designer label: Purificación García. After opening up markets in Spain and Portugal, the brand experienced rapid expansion.

With Purificación García already firmly entrenched, STL began work on the development of a second designer label. In the year 2000 it reached an agreement with Carolina Herrera Ltd. to create the brand Lifestyle CH Carolina Herrera. At this point, an alliance was set up which would culminate, more than a decade later, in the 2014 agreement which allowed the company to become a STL shareholder.

From its very beginnings, STL had the very clear aim of becoming a global company. Its head office in Pereiro de Aguiar, Ourense, Spain, has a total surface area of 45,300 m² in which the design, production and distribution of the product are integrated into a unified process. STL has built an innovative cutting-edge factory; with six interconnected buildings, this complex forms a constant flow of ideas and merchandise.

The group has stores in countries in four continents and has a staff of over 2,500 employees.
